From its humble beginnings in 1984, when Los Lobos headlined a one-day, one-block event, Street Scene's grown into a two-day, 2.5-million-square-foot extravaganza.

Headliners for 2005 include the Pixies, the Killers, the White Stripes, Garbage, Snoop Dogg and more. The packed parking lots, the drag queens, San Diego's finest eats, demented sideshows, carney freaks, burlesque showgirls, and a vast, sprawling collection of music. With scores of artists on multiple stages, this year during a two-day span, Street Scene transforms the Qualcomm Stadium parking lot into a massive music venue with an eclectic bill of bands for a teeming mass of humanity. Everything starts on Friday, July 29 and ends Saturday July 29.
